About Gwen

Fourscore and thirty some years ago a mother and father brought forth into this world a child, conceived in um, happiness, and dedicated to bringing the joy of reading to the world. That child was named Gwen.

Gwen had a dream folks, oh yes, she had a dream. Gwen dreamed that one day, people would stop turning up their nose at nonfiction and finally embrace the goodness that those treasured pages contain.

Gwen had a dream that one day appealing books that also educate you would stop being the red-headed step child of reading and would never be relegated to two measly shelves in your local library or bookshop.

Is it freaky that I am talking in the third person? I have to tell you, it is making me feel a bit uncomfortable. Let’s cut that out.

In case you are wondering, the name, Chew & Digest is a tribute to Sister Anne. She was a wonderful English teacher that I had many moons ago and she would start each class by telling us to “Chew & Digest the following..”
