Review Policy

Welcome back to Chew & Digest Books. I am so glad that you are here!

What I will read/review

I feel that I am a pretty eclectic reader but there are some genres that I enjoy without question:

  • Nonfiction-including memoirs, biographies, autobiographies, history, artifacts, politics, decorating, cookbooks, & crafts
  • Fiction-including historical, mysteries, thrillers, dark, legal thrillers

I stay away from Romance and most Young Adult books.

Stats

I recently made the switch from Blogger to WordPress and my numbers are climbing steadily. For May, I had 101 subscribers, 2304 page views, 384 new unique visitors, and a bounce rate of 6.62%. I have a strong and every growing presence on Twitter as well as a unique relationship with both The San Francisco Book Review and Sacramento Book Review.

I update my blog 4 -5 times a week, leaving room for guest post or interviews.

What I can do for your book

I am open to just about anything from a simple timely review to an author interview or giveaway. I am also exploring Twitter launch parties.

I need to have the book at least two weeks before you would like the review published, if you have a specific date in mind. I can read fast, but like to take my time and do it right.

Formats

I will read ARCs, Galleys, and finished copies at this time. In the future, I hope to be able to read ebooks more comfortably.

About me and the way that I work

I get excited about books and their publishers and the more I like them, the more I am willing to go to bat for them. I will do all that I can to get the word out there. You let me know what you need and I am there for you.

Gwen, I just wanted to let you know I do come check this blog out and read about the book you last read. However, since I have had to give up books for children, meaning if I want them to be clothed, cleaned and fed, I can not read anything that has more than pretty pictures. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that even though I do not usually leave you a message, I was here.
