A Bit of Me(Me) ~Let’s Get this Party Started

by Gwen

It is time once again, to step out from behind the book and get to know one another better.

We all have a story and a life beyond the book and thanks to Danielle from There’s A Book, we get share. She asks the questions and we get to answer.

This Week’s Question: Which songs make your foot tap?

It would be easier to ask me what type of music doesn’t get me up and grooving. My music collection is much larger than my book collection and most would call it eclectic.

My top ten most played on my iPod right now-

Misery by Maroon 5

Tempted by Squeeze

Get Freaky by Missy Elliot

How Deep is the Ocean Diana Krall Version

Monday Monday by The Mamas and the Papas

Self Esteem by The Offspring

Feeling Good Michael Buble Version

Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana

These Are The Days by Jamie Cullum

At Last by Etta James

That is it folks, those are the top ten songs right now on my iPod and they do more than get my foot tapping. The motivate me, give me exercise, and make me jump up out of my seat and sing!

  1. Oh, I’m tapping my toes here just reading through your list! Some of these I haven’t thought of in a long while, like Monday Monday, by the Mamas and the Papas…

    Here’s mine:

  2. Very fun list! I’m going to have to ponder mine still. I have too many to share!

  3. I’ll have to check some of them out!

  4. Oh…Etta James! I love love love her! Well, I love just about everything on your list, but really who wouldn’t? It’s like you said, so hard to pick favorites and easier to say I don’t like “x y and z.” But really, doesn’t that Etta James song make you want to sway around the house for hours? I love it! It’s like you’re dancing on a cloud. Great selection!

I love this because now I have a whole list of music to listen to for the next week or so!

  5. Wow. That is a very diverse music set.

  6. Oooh, I do love Misery by Maroon 5, I’ve been listening to it like crazy lately too 🙂 Such an awesome song, though I’m not sure how much I love the video.

    Mine is here:
