Books on tap for this week:

Posts/Reviews last week:

Books I Still Need to Write Reviews On:

  • So many that I wannna cry. I keep telling myself that I won’t pick up the next one until I have written at least one review…..seldom happens. I have NO self control.

My Good News:

Still working out a lot of kinks with the conversion to WordPress, so many options, so much of a learning curve. Learning something new everyday, I hear, is the best way to stay young.

  1. Anatomy of Deception became available on Book Mooch a couple of days ago. I am looking forward to finding it in my mail box soon. I hope it was good. I love Lawrence’s non-fiction works.

  11. Sounds like it’s all getting on top of you. Remember, no one forces you to write reviews (except if you got a book for free because you said you’d write a review). So, relax and just drop everything that you don’t feel like or don’t have time for. It’s only for fun, or not?

  13. Good books, I really want to read I am Nujood. I have always wanted to read Love in the Time of Cholera. I tried one time to read it. Didn’t succeed. I will definitely try again.

    I love Sheila’s Mr. Mclinky. I guess I don’t need to put a link myself. I don’t know.

  17. I loved Love in the Time of Cholera — I actually read it twice, once years ago and then recently and discovered how much more I liked it the second time.

Anna Karenina: loved it, absolutely. My hat’s off to you for tackling these two at once!

  19. I agree…a smaller list is better, since we’re more likely to succeed.

I understand about learning new things. It took me awhile with Word Press…mostly I really love it, but even after several months, there are still some quirky things that I need to figure out.

Sheila is a good one to answer questions.

Hope you have a great week.

  23. The I Am Nujood is an interesting looking book, one I’ve been glancing at in stores. The other book on your list that caught my attention is the Will In The Word one. Hope you enjoy reading that one and have a great week.

  29. I have the same problem with wanting to pick up the next book right away. I force myself to write a review before I grab the next book…and I make sure to keep the TBR books not by the computer 😉
